G & D, Gerome (Left) and David (Right), that’s us, who will share their stories in the whole World Wide Web.
Let me start with how we met…
It all started online. March 13, 2015, we met on this gay app called Chasabl. Like those same gay stories with how they met online and started their love stories, we’ve been in those situations. From chatting, video calling, facebook-ing, and all the things that LDR couples go through, we’ve gone through a lot.
Chub-chaser, Bear-dads, cubs, Asians and Whites (he’s white, and am the Asian), old and young, and so many aliases, G & D is part of those branches of that colorful tree, and we’re happy and proud to shout it out.
July 9, 2015, was our first day we met face-to-face. What’s surprising? It’s when we gave our hugs and kisses to each other, with no awkward feeling. It felt like we’ve known each other for awhile.
We’ve gone through the K-1 Visa to be together here in the US, then got married, and now, we’ve decided (and almost planned), on how we will start our journey together.
G & D is inspired to be gay travel bloggers like Nomadic Boys, Two Bad Tourists, and many more. Also, we got inspired to be like these people from Two Monkeys Travel Group, The Poor Traveler, Senyorita, and many more bloggers out there. Then we decided, why not start to have a personal blog. So now, we’re starting to collect and remember all the places we’ve been since we started our love story.
Starting from The Philippines, in Manila (where we met); then in Palawan, where we went to Puerto Princesa and El Nido.
And since we started living together here in the USA, we had weekend trips to some places in California:
Theme Parks like Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park (Santa Cruz, CA)
California’s Great America (Santa Clara, CA)
Disneyland Park & Disney California Adventure Park (Anaheim, CA)
G & D did some State Beach hopping as well (after our Disneyland trip) like along Pacific Coast Highway, seeing Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and some beaches in Malibu.
See? G & D definitely have the guts to be like those other gay travel bloggers (we hope). But all we want, is to spend our life together, and spending it where ever we go, seeing what the world has to offer.
On this first blog, I just wanna say that I’m starting to feel the heat of sharing my stories, G & D stories. Good or bad, happiness or sadness, action-packed or romantic, anything that comes to mind, as long as I think that it’s going be worthy-to-share, I will let you guys read it. Like what this line from a song says, “Say what you wanna say, and let the words fall out…lalala”. Yeap, you know the song, I know! 😀
How about you? Do you remember your first story when you met your better-half?
