JORD Wood Watch + GIVEAWAY
As a newbie here in the blogosphere (I know, it’s almost 11 months- I still feel like new though), I always learn bunch of things from other bloggers and writers whenever I’m in front of the computer and searching stuff online.
I admit that focus is my main problem and this affects my time, which flies by and leaving me accomplishing nothing. It sucks, but I believe that I’m on the right track. I’m helping myself plus David is always there to support and to remind me that every second counts.
This is just to tell you all that even though we have all the time in the world, it’s better if we will use this wisely.
“The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.”
One day, this subject line “Yo Ho Ho” popped up on my email- it’s JORD reaching out to G&D!
JORD values sustainability, efficiency, and experiential living. They create these timepieces which remind you that moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time.
What a great message to tell their consumers that time is luxurious that you can’t get it back, right?
Honestly, I’ve been seeing their beautiful wood watches on our Instagram feed and they found us on the same platform. JORD is asking us to share this amazing campaign which is perfect timing for holiday season, especially for y’all looking for gift ideas.
Let’s talk about this amazing wood watch.
Showing this JORD Dover Series- Zebrawood & Dark Sandalwood as our “couple timepieces”.
The Zebrawood (lighter color) from West Africa (Congo) will give you these recognizable growth rings and fine grain patterns which reminds me of our visit to the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve last April.
And this East Africa’s Dark Sandalwood (darker color) is prized for it’s fragrance which I believe is the oil that we can smell on our wrists whenever we wear them.
Sapphire Crystal Glass
Band Thickness: 24mm
Movement: Sea-Gull TY2807
Jewel Bearing: 21 Jewels
Power Reserve: 36 hours
Accuracy: +/- 3 seconds/day
Drive System: Self-winding automatic (requires no battery)
Finish & Care:
- Natural Zebrawood and Dark Sandalwood are hand finished and pretreated with tung oils.
- Splash-proof but should not be submerged in water (3 ATM)
- Prior to wearing your JORD Watch, use JORD Preserve Finishing Oil and Polishing Cloth to rub the oil into the watch and let it dry for 10 minutes. Do this again in 6 months to insure ample protection.
And since Christmas is in the air and it’s the most wonderful time of the year, JORD is partnering with G&D to host a GIVEAWAY!
Perfect timing for you to give this as a gift to your loved ones.
Anyone who enters the giveaway gets an automatic $25-credit code that you can use to purchase your favorite JORD Wood Watch.
And on November 26 (11:59pm-PST), one lucky reader will get an extra $100-credit code for their online purchase!
(Both $25-code and $100-code will expire on December 31, 2017- 11:59pm-PST)
All you need to do is to put your name and email address. Then choose your favorite JORD Wood Watch (like our Dover Series- Zebrawood & Sandalwood).
To increase chances of winning, you can also provide your Instagram account and follow them.
As simple as it can be.
